So yeah. I just thought I would rant about how MCSE exams can be some of the most difficult tests ever! I took my second of two infrastructure tests yesterday, and well, apparently didn't do hot enough to pass, so... Here I go, retaking it. The good news i guess, is this is the first MCSE exam I have failed so far, so that's good, I suppose. Yeah, yall can comment or whatever you want to this lovely topic, but I would just like to say, planning and maintaining a windows server 2003 network infrastructure is freaking! Annoying!
Thanks for listening, or something!
I hate tests that stress me out, especially when I think I know the material, and it turns out I don't do as good as I thought I did. I can definitely relate to how you're feeling.
good luck jess! hang in there!
Awww thanks all. I really appreciate the positive responses. Yeah I ran into a few questions where i definitely should have known the answer! Grrr! This test is like evil! Evil I say!
Well I'm so computer illiterate that most of what you said is over my head. So hats off to you for being smart enough to even be taking those kinds of classes.
Oh man, that has to be stressful. Hope you do well enough on the exam this time.
I'm impressed that you'd try it.
I don't think I know anyone who took one of the certification tests and passed them all first time through.
Anyway, hats off to you.
Bob
You'll conquer the test second time through. It doesn't stand a chance.
So, just curious but what are the MCSE tests like, Is it multable choice? all done on the computer. Are there any practical labs?
That is going to be my next sert to go for.
I'm taking my second CCNA class now, parts of it are fairly easy, some of it is ungoddly difficult. Probably going to take the intro exam in the summer.
Aww thanks all. And becky, you don't wanna know this stuff, lol. It can be very stressful sometimes.
Chris, you're just silly, I really do hope i pass though.
Yogie, to your response, yeah we get books that have labs in them, and you use vm's or virtual machines if you will for labs. They're lots of fun, you definitely learn alot and it's definitely alot of information. As for the tests, yes they are all on computer, and if you're blind you have a reader and recorder to help you take them. You also get double time, it's pretty nice, lol. Well, good luck on the CCNA, I wanted to take that too but I don't know if I will be able too here in the near future... Wel, take care.. And thanks all, again.
I have no idea what is being discussed here, but I did understand the bit about tests. I hate them just as much as the next person. Good luck.
Oh I was just complaining about this networking certification I had to take, that's all.
